HGACBuyHGACBuy

HGACBuy is a nationwide government procurement service. As a unit of local government, HGACBuy strives to make the governmental procurement process more efficient by establishing competitively priced contracts and providing the customer service necessary to help its members achieve their purchasing goals. The team at Silsbee Fleet Group has held HGAC vehicle contracts since 1997.

Buy Board Cooperative PurchasingBuyBoard

The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) BuyBoard was created to increase the purchasing power of government entities and to simplify their purchasing by using a customized electronic purchasing system call the “BuyBoard”. Its purpose is to obtain the benefits and efficiencies that can accrue to members of a cooperative, to comply with state bidding requirements, and to identify qualified vendors of commodities, goods, and services. The Cooperative also relieves the burdens of governmental purchasing by effectively using current technology and realizing economies of scale. The team at Silsbee Fleet Group has held BuyBoard contracts since 2002.

Texas Smart BuyTexas SmartBuy

Texas SmartBuy is the Texas Procurement and Support Service’s online ordering system. The State Purchasing teams award and manage hundreds of statewide contracts on behalf of more than 200 state agencies and 1,900 local government CO-OP members. Texas is focused on maximizing best value in purchasing through a continuous process of analysis and optimization that promises additional efficiencies and cost savings. The team at Silsbee Fleet Group has held Texas state contracts since 1997.

Tarrant CountyTarrant County Cooperative

Tarrant County, a recognized leader in government purchasing, has established a cooperative consisting of 387 cities, counties, and government entities. It’s duty is to furnish supplies, equipment and services in the required quantity and quality, at the best possible price. This is accomplished by standardization, competitive bidding of the basis of adequate specifications, and cooperative purchasing. The team at Silsbee Fleet Group has held Tarrant County cooperative purchasing contracts since 2007.

Region II Education Services’ GoodBuy Purchasing Cooperative (formerly the Multi-Regional Purchasing Program) has been been assisting governmental agencies with their purchasing needs since 1992. TIPS

The Interlocal Purchasing System, better known as, TIPS Purchasing Cooperative, began in 2002 as a small regional cooperative of the Region 8 Education Service Center. While the cooperative has far exceeded the initial vision, Region 8 ESC has maintained its role as the Lead Agency for what is now a national operation.
